What Guests Are Saying
Island Lake Campground is well-maintained with clean sites and friendly hosts who are attentive and accommodating. The beautiful setting near the lake offers excellent fishing and hiking opportunities, making it a relaxing getaway. However, access can be challenging due to construction, with rough, narrow roads and some sites being uneven, which may not accommodate larger RVs easily.

Campground and host were excellent. Problem we experienced, we did not receive notice that the main road to the campground was closed due to construction so we had to find the other entrance. The other entrance , which we used, worked fine as long as we did not encounter a vehicle coming from the other direction. We were pulling a trailer and that road is not wide enough for 2 cars at one time. Did not feel safe.

Be careful of size lot. We had a party of 9 and pad area was only big enough for 1 6 person tent. 12 person tent had to be placed in the car parking area. We needed electric as well. The host sis try to help get another site that was bigger but no electric hook up

The road to the campground is rocky, narrow, and basically a one-way. Traveling with a 36' 5th wheel was not a good experience. There are no pullouts for any vehicle you may encounter...who backs up? The campground was beautiful and well maintained; however, our site #5 was not level. Our auto leveling system could not level our RV do to the condition of the site. The site would be better served for larger campers if it was level...smaller trailers should be okay. Our camp host were wonderful! Melanie and Shawn are doing a great job.
