Beautiful area and campsites. Clean bathrooms and easy access to water. Friendly host and reasonably priced firewood. Quiet campground. Would definitely camp here again.

The sites were large with concrete pads, graveled site, landscaping and a sheltered picnic table area. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The only thing I would say is that we have camped in many State Parks across the nation and have never been charged an additional parking fee for every day we stayed in park over our site fee. That is the only negative experience at this lovely park.

Well maintained campground a short drive from downtown Durango, CO, and surrounding areas. Excellent base camp to explore the area. Only the E Loop is electrified, and only the D and E Loops have consistent cell reception. The camp hosts were very friendly with firewood is available onsite.
