As a Denver area local, I make a few trips into RMNP each year- usually with the intent to seeing wildlife. This campsite served as the perfect "home base" for a weekend of hiking and wlldlife spotting. With sheep lakes just around the corner, I had several moose sightings and woke up one morning to more than a dozen deer grazing feet from my tent. The renovated bathrooms were a great plus.

Great campgrounds. Drinking water, flush toilets, and campsites were large. Rangers were very friendly and helpful. Had a wonderful time.

We had a wonderful time at Aspenglen. We camped at 28C. It’s small, but right by the bathrooms while still being quiet. The rangers were so friendly.

The campground was very nice and we appreciate the reservation system and the timed entry. It is difficult to get reservations, but the experience at the NP is so much better. Thank you!

Nice quiet campground with easy access to Estes Park and just a short walk to the RMNP visitor center. It will be even nicer once the construction on the park entrance is completed later this summer.
