We stayed at #38 and there were incredible mountain views on both sides. Still a bit snowy right now but really enjoyable with the correct gear. We’ll be back!

I have been camping at Aspenglen campground since 1976 during the Big Thompson Canyon flood. I have seen a lot of changes but always love it. I wish it was still first come first serve for camping and there wasn't timed entry permits but I get it since it is so popular and Colorado population has exploded. I still miss the days of entering the park without a pass and going to the campground and grabbing any unoccupied site. But still it is a great experience and employees are excellent running everything well.

The campground was fine once we found it. It was not well marked and we were not given a map at the entrance to the park. They were out. We probably drove in circles for 2 hours, but glad to relax and enjoy the space once we got there.

Nice, small campground. We stayed at Moraine a couple years ago and liked Aspenglen better. We saw bunch of wildlife this time - moose, elk, grouse. Probably our favorite hike this time was Bierstadt. It's a smaller, less-used trail but has great overlooks

Very friendly park rangers at the campground entrance, there was ice and firewood for sale, the sites were separated enough for privacy, and the restrooms were very clean. Overall an excellent experience at this campsite, and will definitely be returning!

Such a beautiful park and the rangers had great recommendations. I wish we had more time and energy to hike even further!
