This was a beautiful campground, within a quick drive of Estes Park and main road through RMNP. Very quiet. Incredibly beautiful rocky stream nearby, with a paved walking path right from the campground. No dump station, but a great value

We enjoyed our stay! Very organized! You have a restroom that is clean, and well maintained. There is also a store to buy your woods, ice, and charcoal from 17:30. The rangers are also very friendly.

It’s nice to see a National
Park that puts so much back into their infrastructure. First rate.

Pros: Campground is smaller and sites generally have some space between them. Some of the bathroom facilities have been renovated. Scenic views.
Cons: The park needs to better maintain the sites by cutting tall weeds around picnic tables and tent sites. This campground is close to a road and visitor center/restaurant and you can hear road noise throughout the day.

Clean restrooms and easy access to bathrooms & water. Beautiful camping location - only challenges were deep steps down to campfire/tent pad at the site (challenge for someone with knee replacements) but thankfully there was also a walkaround path. Some late noise Friday night from Estes Park, but only noticeable while outside star gazing.

Such a beautiful place! So quiet at night, I could hear the running creek. Gorgeous stars. A flock of two large and ten small turkeys visited my campsite in the morning.
The bathroom facilities were clean, well maintained. No showers. Tent camping. Just wonderful!

I probably won't book this particular RMNP campground again. It's just barely inside the park boundaries and right across the river are several lodges that host weddings. There was a wedding reception blaring music across the valley until well after 10PM. The more interior campgrounds are a lot quieter.
