Lovely camping in a quiet campground (okay, so it was kind of rainy and more empty campsites than usual) on the more mellow side of the park.

Beautiful, intimate campsite with nice spacing between each site. Tall trees provide excellent cover. Bathroom facility and outdoor sink are nice amenities. Loop B is a "no generator" area, which is awesome for tent campers! Watch out for bold chipmunks, I watched one take things from a picnic table. I'd return to this site next year. Enjoyed it more than Glacier Basin.

We stayed at glacier and Aspenglen. Two very different experiences. Our site, shouldn’t be a site. The fire pit is in a slope and there is no safe way to sit around it. Also, there is no shade at this site. Both in morning and afternoon. So, while there we baked. Eventually pulled car to side to act as shade and then got a notice that we had to move it because not all wheels were in the concrete. Finally, the woman that sold wood and ice was rude. Have stayed at dozens of campgrounds and would never stay here again.

Loved Aspenglen, everything here was great! Our only complaint was that the lodge right outside the park had live music Saturday that played loudly and echoed across the camp Saturday night and that ruined the peaceful mountain atmosphere.

This campground is nice and quiet. We loved our camp spot, but there wasn’t a lot of shade until the end of the day. This campground makes it convenient to go to Bear Lake and all eastern trails. The cell phone coverage wasn’t the best, but we were able to give and receive text messages. Highly recommend camping here.

Although in the more northern part of the park away from the busy Bear Lake area, the campground is clean, quiet, and near less visited sites that are worth seeing. Could use more parking, but amenities are great for camping.
