Excellent site for my short motorhome (24'). Site is level and shady. The table and fire ring were a bit of a distance from the parking spot but worked. Site is a short walk to the shuttle stop and bathroom.

Busy campground, but very nice.

Site A017 was one of the best sites in the campground. It is on the outside of A loop and has privacy from the pine trees (they're now about 7 or 8 feet tall in Fall 2024). There is a trail on the hill behind the site, but it does not see a lot of traffic. Site had a level tent pad and a bear box.
Glacier Basin campground is a great campground. The bathrooms were updated and always clean. There is an outdoor dish rinse on the side of the comfort station and there are two Solar shower stalls in Loop D. We saw wildlife each day, both elk and mule deer. The campground is close to Sprague Lake and Bear Lake and not needing a timed entry was very convenient.

Really awesome campground, we wish we could have spent a few more nights here before the season ended. We stayed in C94 and felt like we had a lot of privacy and great views.

Typical NP campground with trees (shade, no view) and no trees (view, no shade). Have stayed here many many times and this is a wonderful park to visit.

Even with very early booking, to get a campsite was difficult. The campsite in the mountain nature was very nice.

One of my favorite places. RMNP. MY 4th trip, from Indiana. One of the best hiking opportunities in the country. Long, short, easy, difficult, higher altitudes, etc… it’s all here. Tip, get acclimated to the altitude before you try any long hikes to the higher altitudes
