The campsite was great! Short walk to the bathroom and water tap and has some trees and a trail right behind it. The campground itself is awesome. There's a beautiful field providing an open outlook onto the mountains and stary sky at night. Plenty of trails nearby and the shuttle pick-up for Bear Lake Road is right across from the campground on the main road.

We checked in late and the rangers who greeted us were friendly and helpful. Our camping spot was perfect for what we needed, the campground was quite, the bathrooms were nice and clean and the location and views were exceptional!

We had a site in the trees and it was very enjoyable, I think a site in the full sun would have been less so. The bathrooms were in good condition and we made use of the BYO shower stalls too, that was great after a day of hiking. It's less than a 1/2 mile walk from Loop C to the bus stop for Bear Lake, but get there early anyway. We got in line just before 9 am on a Monday and waited 45 min to get on the bus.

Lovely views, helpful rangers, gorgeous sunrise. Bathroom facilities were an added bonus plus a shower stall for a camping shower. We will definitely be back

We loved both our camp sites! Last minute grabs so we couldn’t get two nights on same site.
The view is magnificent especially at sunset!
Firewood sold in the evenings was conveniently located by the entrance.
The bathrooms are clean and we were thankful for flush toilets. Wish they had showers or stall with drain.
They need more bear boxes. 1st night we had one by our site the 2nd night there weren’t any close by so we had to ask another camper. It was uncomfortable going into their seating space to put our things in their box. Especially retrieving the next morning.
Can’t wait to go back!

Location was perfect! Directly across from the restrooms and dishwashing. The site had 20+ stumps sticking up about 4-6 inches all over. We had 8 kids from 10 years on down and lots of trips, stumbles and skinned knees. The adults didn’t fare much better.

We had an excellent view of the mountains from our campsite. This site is close to the restrooms, ice/firewood, and bus stop, too. There was cell service (up to two bars), but it wasn't a consistent signal.

Location was perfect. It had nice tree view and if you step out of the site a little bit. you can see the mountain view. Water was close by and restroom was a 30 seconds walk away. The tent site was big enough for 2 tents and the picnic table was right next to it. I went there around mid July and weather was tolerable with 30f quilt. Weather said it was going to rain but it didn't rain.
