Great campground in a perfect location with views of the mountains and access many hiking trails. Conveniently located across the road from the Park and Ride shuttle which will give you easy access to Bear Lake Trailhead area. Campground also has potable water and clean bathrooms.

The bathroom in Glacier Basin Loop D seemed to be newly remodeled. It was so nice & clean! No showers, but flush toilets were a welcome amenity. The campground was very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful mountain views.

Glacier Basin is the best campground at RMNP. Access to the bear lake corridor and hiking trails

What a beautiful experience. Host and all employees we encounterd were friendly and very helpful. Robert was the best host. The restrooms were so clean and the campground was spotless. The views of the mountain near the meadow were breathtaking. Defiantly we will be back some day soon.
We hiked Bear Lake, Sprague Lake and Mills Lake - All high recommended. My favorite was our hike to Mills Lake - less crowded.

Loved the park and the campground! Only complaint is around the awful ants all over our campsite--and the guy snoring in the campsite next to us, but I don't think the ranger can do anything there;)! Beautiful campground with ice and firewood.

Awesome views right from the campsite. Great location. We parked the car and used the shuttle for the entire time we were in the park.
