Wonderful campground with very helpful rangers! Perfect location within the Bear Lake Road Corridor. We loved it!!! The exterior sink outside the bathhouse was very convenient to wash dishes, and the bathhouse itself was very clean with flush toilets. Loved the Little Free Library by the Ranger Station too! We will be back again one day!

Gorgeous campground. Directly across the street from Bear Lake/Glacier Gorge shuttle. Bring bills smaller than $20 in order to purchase firewood/ice.

The old lady who sells the ice is as mean as a snake.

Decent bath rooms. I didn't like the shared bear boxes. Ours faced toward our camp and no one else seemed to feel comfortable using it. Good for us, in that we had it all to ourselves but that wasn't really the idea. A community box should not be in one site but between multiple sites so there is no clear owner.
And what is up with the firewood/ice vender. That woman had an absolutely atrocious attitude! I bought wood from her once but I would never go back. She made it seem like we were such a bother. Fortunately there are plenty of services very close by.

The camp was very crowded and very noisy. Some had heaters going all night in 60 degree evenings. Not your old school camping crowd.

A perfectly located campground surrounded by beautiful views of snow-capped mountains and pine trees. The restrooms were clean and plumbed. The campground is within walking distance to the Park-and-Ride for Bear Lake Trailhead, where you can hop on a shuttle to some of the best hikes in the park.

Don't miss the Park Rangers talks - 8:30 each weekend evening at the outdoor amphitheater.

Great spot on east side, gives access to bear lake. Spots are very close to each other. Awesome views!

The park was beautiful in late June and early July. We enjoyed Glacier Basin Campground - the Ranger programs were awesome, the bathrooms were clean, and our view of the snow covered mountains was amazing. Being able to get up early and beat the crowd to Bear Lake was terrific and highly recommended. We stayed several days and explored all over even driving Old Fall River Road to Grand Lake one day. When making reservations, take note of the one way roads - we had to go the wrong way in order to have the front door of our trailer to face our picnic table, but many were also doing that. The only negative at all during our stay was the lady selling firewood - she was very rude.

Probably my least favorite campsite ever. Extremely crammed and our neighbors were using our assigned table. We ended up not spending the night and leaving (family of 5)
