What Guests Are Saying
North Fruita Desert Campground offers fantastic sites with great access to mountain biking trails, making it an ideal spot for family trips. The campground is clean, well-marked, and features nicely wooded areas for shade, along with newly paved access roads. However, some campsites are close together, which can lead to noise, and visitors are advised to bring their own toilet paper as supplies may run out.

Not quite sure why it costs so much…no electricity, water, sewer or trash. I understand trail maintenance is included, but day users are not contributing.

The campground and bathrooms were perfect, the cows were a little annoying as they destroy the bike trails but we must understand the trails were created from cow trails .
The reservation system showed that there might be delays due to construction on 18 road, this was not accurate as it was completely closed and a detour was in place , this should have been described in detail as it caused a long trip that could have been avoided by taking the detour before finding out the road was closed completely

Would have been better but a group kept their generator running during quiet hours.

Camped here for biking the 18 road trails, and this campground is a perfect place to stay for that! Can ride right for your campsite.
