North Fruita Desert Campground offers a fantastic location right off the North 18 Road trails, making it ideal for mountain biking enthusiasts. The campground features spacious, clean sites with good amenities, and recent road paving has improved access significantly. While some reviews noted issues with toilet paper availability and occasional overcrowding, the overall experience is praised for its excellent trail access and well-maintained facilities.

restrooms were clean and ample. All I would say is that it was a little pricey for what it is. Limited space/separation from neighboring campsites with only simple facilities means it’s hardly worth 50 bucks for two nights. The surrounding trail system (18 road trails) is incredibly well set up, and I can’t say enough good things about it.

Really well cared for camp sites and clean pit toilet bathrooms. Trying to change campsites while on site was a bit tricky. I was unable to change sites because of camper size restrictions (my fault for not reading reservation instructions closely enough) but the campground host was understanding when he came by in the morning. I think Recreation.gov needs to work on the site change part of their automated system to avoid infinite loops situations with their software.

Beautiful spot full of trees that is also near a clean bathroom.

D4 is not a great site for vehicles (we have a teardrop). Fine for tent camping, but otherwise you are basically on the road..

We love camping on 18 road! G loop has great convenience at the bottom of many fun, family- friendly trails. The bathrooms are new and clean. Beautiful scenery!

We backed our van into the ditch between the tent space and the drive. It wasn't super clear that there would be such a ditch! Beware!
