What Guests Are Saying
North Fruita Desert Campground offers a fantastic location right off the North 18 Road trails, making it ideal for mountain biking enthusiasts. The campground features spacious, clean sites with good amenities, and recent road paving has improved access significantly. While some reviews noted issues with toilet paper availability and occasional overcrowding, the overall experience is praised for its excellent trail access and well-maintained facilities.

More people, more fees for North Fruita Desert. We are fine with that, but step up park ranger presence (we can go days without seeing one) and maybe offer trash service?

Very pleasant experience. Nice sites.Quiet. Joe, the main individual maintaining the very clean bathrooms was very personable and nice with an attention to detail. We did the see Camp Host on site but he never really made his presence known throughout the campground (that I saw anyway).

Great campground. Lots of fun biking. Wonderful for families. The access road to the area definitely needs work.

Great trails for riding. Campground is a bit noisy but everyone respected the quiet hours.

The campsite is great but with the new reservation system there were so many empty sites which people could use. There should be a policy that you have to be at your campsite by 11 pm the first day of your reservation or others can use it. The parking was a little small in places but the location cannot be beat! This area has changed so much in the last 10 years but the upper campsite is still so nice. The sites are big and pretty spread out. We always enjoy ourselves.
