For those who love the desert area of Colorado this is a gorgeous site with amazing views!
If your rig has a passenger side access to the campground, you will need to find a place to turn around and park so your door faces the picnic table.

This was my favorite place on my travels back across the U.S. to Virginia. I wish I could have stayed a few extra nights for the scenery. The park has beautiful views.

Pros- The views, clean facilities.
Cons- The RV parking was uneven, partially on the road and a hike up to the table and fire pit.
If you donβt mind the walk up to the table the views up on the mesa were very pretty.

I love this Campground. Itβs at the top of the Mesa and you can see forever. The Rangers and Host are fantastic. Great trails and unique scenery, wonderful Visitor Center and close to Fuita and Grand Junction. I come here often.

My site didn't really have a great place to put up the tent despite being listed as a tent site (limited room between trees and uneven ground). Some of the sites around the edges of the loop have great views, but you can't see much from the middle. There is some visual privacy between the sites but they're close enough that you can hear everything going on in the neighboring sites.

Interesting drive to the top of the hill to get to the campground but once there the view was amazing. Very clean facilities
