What Guests Are Saying
Saddlehorn Campground offers breathtaking views and well-maintained facilities, including exceptionally clean bathrooms and attentive camp hosts. While some sites are close together and certain spots may not be ideal for tents, many campers appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, especially in the tent-only sections. The site itself was wonderful. Clean bathrooms. Map was a bit off. I thought I could pull along side, backing up in new trailer proved interesting.

A nice campground in an underestimated national Monument. From out of our site there was a small path to a beautiful view.

I’ve had good luck picking sites unseen at saddlehorn but not this time. Site 54 on Loop C is a really bad site that could barely fit a 3person tent shoved between two bushes. It also has multiple paths for rain water to travel directly through the middle of it due to the main drainage culvert from the road directing water into the site. Great campground, just a terrible site this time.

The site was nice! Never saw the camp ground host. The sign always said off duty. Bathrooms were kept clean!! The reservation system had just changed so next year we will know more about making reservations. This was our 7th year of camping in the spring in out tent and hope we keep the tradition going. All the employees were very nice from checking in to talking to employee at the visitor center.
