Most of the parking areas are very unlevel.
If you are sleeping in a camper, trailer, etc bring lots of blocks and jacks.

Saddlehorn campground is amazing, the camp sites sized to accommodate tents and modest stature trailers and camper vans. The views looking out over the valley are fantastic. The camp hosts are very friendly and welcoming, always available to be sure you get settled in your camp site with minimal fuss. And of course, Saddlehorn Campground is located adjacent to the visitor center for the Colorado National Monument, and the entire awe inspiring driving tour through the monument. This campground is a real treasure, find the time to camp there and visit the Monument, you will not be disappointed.

The campground is well maintained, and the camp host is friendly, professional and helpful. The toilet facility is one of the best I've seen at a campsite.

For one, the drive up through the monument to the campground was stunning. The campground itself is neatly and easily laid out. I stayed in B 21 which was quiet and close to the (clean) bathrooms. The host was friendly and drove around the grounds multiple times to make sure all was going well for everyone. Would absolutely stay here again.
