Gem of a spot. Just fine with paying to use to support the long-term management and maintenance of this site. Perfect desert getaway under the stars. Brutally hot in the summer, but bearable once the sun sets.

Shade structures would help a lot.

Very nice camping facilities. The reservation system is difficult and not very user friendly. Beautiful area for camping.

Road conditions were crap, BLM needs to do a better job servicing the road, they have signs on the road saying rough road, but nothing in the campground listing about how sorry the road conditions are, I’m really disappointed in BLM charging like they are they should fix the road

Good location and views, relatively quiet. Cell service is excellent with line of sight to the closest tower. People I spoke with had confusion about the mandatory reservations, and which sites were still available that day. BLM staff did NOT visit the facility to clean and restock the bathroom. The tent pads are overgrown and need maintenance.

Beautiful campsite, but the road was absolute horrible, No where in the listing does it say the road conditions suck! BLM needs to fix the road conditions especially charging $20 a night Or atleast mention off road vehicles needed to access campgrounds, there’s no way I would take $70k rv down rabbit valleys crap road to stay where I stayed, I didn’t even like taking my Mercedes wagon down it.

The bugs were unbearable. We made it about 20 minutes into setting up camp before we abandoned the whole mission and drove back home. June 2023

Nice campground, good spacing between sites, great views at Knowles Overlook, quiet and serene. Only issue was the biting gnats.
