What Guests Are Saying
Rabbit Valley offers a well-maintained campground with clean facilities and stunning views, particularly from Knowles Overlook. The large, spaced-out campsites provide a peaceful atmosphere, ideal for off-roading and outdoor activities. However, access can be challenging due to a rough road, and the lack of shade and amenities may not suit everyone.

Group capacity is WRONG. Tiny tent pads with no alternative locations. No campground hosts.
A neighboring group in site 4 that arrived before us pitched their tent over our walkway and only ten yards from our tent pad - we get why, their group size was larger than one tent and it was the nearest flat spot- but we weren't able to carry the gear from our car without going off trail, we anticipated they were going to be loud, only ten yards away from our otherwise remote and quiet tent pad. The group was not present around dinner when we tried to set up camp to ask them to move, and we have a one year old so time was essential. We waited maybe an hour. There were no alternative sites open, no one to call, no campground host to consult. Our toddler was hungry and crying and we had to drive back to Utah. Literally the worst experience we've ever had, thanks to awful sites, poor management, and some casual selfishness from strangers. I didn't even try to get a refund. Might be my last time trying to reserve; we typically do dispersed camping but figured with our young child we should get a campground.

Was surprised to arrive to find we needed reservations this year. I don’t mind paying but $20 seemed a little steep for just a gravel base, fire pit and picnic table. A long long drive to bathrooms from site 19.

When I arrived someone had taken my site and all others were full so there was no where to stay except to sleep in the car as there was no one to contact at night for these situations. I did call ahead to confirm this wouldn’t happen since I was arriving after dark and was told my site would be open when I got there so it was extra disappointing that it wasn’t. On the plus side, the facilities were nice and I was issued a refund.

Nice little secluded campground if you are fine sacrificing ammenities. Its a 30 minute drive to the nearest gas and groceries, so keep that in mind. I used it as a base camp for hitting Arches, Canyonlands, and Black Canyon of the Gunnison, its a good middle ground for those 3 if you are fine with waking up early to get to those parks (about 90min drive for each). Site 5 is about 50 feet away from the road, so I wouldn't stay in that one again.

Surprise to learn it was reservation only. Disappointed reserved sites were not occupied. On the plus, the sites and access are much import. The location is amazing

Site 19 wasn't found because of poor marking. It appears to be located outside the posted limits of the campground down a trail which has a sign that says "NO CAMPING". We stayed in another unoccupied only to have the campers show up at 2AM!

This campsite is so insanely beautiful. The grounds are natural and well maintained. Loved our visit and being able to embrace the natural environment!

The area was lovely. Unfortunately the road leading to the campsite was damaged by watershed making it difficult to do the 4 mile drive. Luckily the kind cattle farmer leasing the equestrian camp area offered for us to park in his area for the night. We were camping early in the season so imagine the roads will improve.

Fluffle loop should not be listed for tent camping. It's a large parking lot. Probably great for RVs and trailers.
