What Guests Are Saying
Rabbit Valley offers a well-maintained campground with clean facilities and stunning views, particularly from Knowles Overlook. The large, spaced-out campsites provide a peaceful atmosphere, ideal for off-roading and outdoor activities. However, access can be challenging due to a rough road, and the lack of shade and amenities may not suit everyone.

Right on the bike trails. Low use after Labor Day but still hot in early/mid Sept. Jouflas #5 is the best site for shade but has a short walk-in; worth it. Not much 'blockage' between sites. Sites 2 & 4 on either side of the latrine.

We had a delightful time. All the camp spots are scenic, remote and quiet.

I've camp here before. Don't mind paying, however if I had not been there before, choosing a site would be difficult. The photos are a nice touch, but don't really capture the whole perspective. Distance from restrooms is kind of a big deal, don't want to be down wind in summer heat.

This was my first time back since formal paid sites were built. I used the North camp. My selected site (#6) was way too small for my truck and trailer. I drove further and saw a pull thru site (#8) that was wide open at the entry, but became very narrow on the back side beyond the tree. One of the metal posts on the passenger side caught my truck, so I have a big gash in the body panel. I then pulled further down the road to site #10. This site barely allowed for my truck and trailer. Why were these sites cordoned off into such a small area? Really put a damper on my experience.

Very nice camping spot. Road to get there was a little scary but drivable.

It’s ok, no services including even a trash can and $28/night.

A map of the camp sites at the login site would be helpful!

I was the only person out there at the Knowles Overlook Campground. Vault toilet was reasonably clean and so were the campsites. However it was windy so be sure to secure your tent and other items. Most sites have no shade so bring your shade and most definitely water. It was fun driving along the different offshoot roads along the way to the campground, very scenic. AT&T cell signal was fairly good throughout the area.

Went well, a nice spot with good amenities. Nobody around. I grew up coming to Mack BLM land for camping and shooting and fourwheeling; has changed a lot for the better

Gem of a spot. Just fine with paying to use to support the long-term management and maintenance of this site. Perfect desert getaway under the stars. Brutally hot in the summer, but bearable once the sun sets.
