What Guests Are Saying
Rabbit Valley offers a well-maintained campground with clean facilities and stunning views, particularly from Knowles Overlook. The large, spaced-out campsites provide a peaceful atmosphere, ideal for off-roading and outdoor activities. However, access can be challenging due to a rough road, and the lack of shade and amenities may not suit everyone.

Good isolated camping. Bathroom wasn't the best but that's to be expected with a vault toilet in the heat.

Nice view, but to shelter against the wind and toilet paper was not refillled.

Level ground, close to highway in vast area. Yet the facilities were at the trailhead a far walk away and it felt more like dispersed camping.

We love Rabbit Valley; the campsites are big enough; some of them have the most beautiful view! Stargazing is the best.

As of June 2024, the campsite numbers in the online campground map within the registration system didn't match the actual locations on the ground. It meant that instead of reserving a site on the outside of the loop like we wanted, we actually had a site on the inside of the loop. Hopefully someone will read this and correct the campsite map online or fix the markers in the ground to match. Aside from the numberings being off, the campground was nice, the outhouse was clean, and it was a quiet place to camp with only one other site occupied. I imagine it gets very hot in the mid-day summer sun as there is virtually no shade in the campground. The sunset, star gazing, and sunrise were nice. We enjoyed our brief stay on our way to Arches.

It was just what I needed. A quiet and lovely place to park for the night. I lucked out with the weather…watched an exciting storm pass by to the south with a rainbow display right at sunset. Thanks desert beauty.

I loved that Rabbit Valley is so close to I-70. It was difficult to find my campsite, since signage was missing! But it was a great place for a quick overnight stay.

My husband, 2 horses and 1 large dog spent 2 nights and 3 days at Rabbit Valley in the Koniklos 3, Equestrian site. The campsite was beyond expectations. The large 20 x 20 corrals were well constructed and my 2 horses were very comfortable. Large, flat , level area to park a Living Quarters Horse Trailer made it ease to set up camp. The large picnic table was nice when friends camping in the adjacent sites joined us for dinner. We were also impressed with the fire ring, we had a nice sized fire and the outside ring didn't even get hot enough to burn the weeds touching the ring....amazing!. What a great improvement to Rabbit Valley. It was also wonderful that many of the trails were for horses and hikers only. This makes it much safer for everyone. My husband did spend some time gathering up the barb wire that was near by our camp site. He rolled it up and placed it on the abandoned fence posts.

Campsite over looked the whole valley. It was great. It was very clean and well kept It could probably need another pit toilet
