The campground was good and bathrooms clean and adequate. Unbelievable stars on a clear night. We were frustrated, however, that the marina was closed and that is the reason for the 4 star rating.

We had tons of fun. We noticed these green little bugs that was bitting us. No matter how much spray or candle repellent we used they kept coming back. We also got a warning and a phone call about a chimp muck eating a piece of food at our campground.

The camp ground was fine, however the water level at Blue Mesa is so low the fishing and boating was poor at best. Due to the low water level the marina and boat slips are closed making the on water activities difficult.

Beautiful site (A28) near the lake, but the winds were quite high from noon thru 8pm each day. After the 4th day, our tent and canopy were showing damage, so we left before our scheduled departure date. Loved the very clean restroom with flush toilets and an outdoor spigot so that we could refill our water containers for use at the campsite. If we consider returning to this campsite, will check wind forecasts first.

Too windy. The place is good, but we had trouble setting up our tent due to the wind. One night the wind also blew through the night, and we thought our tent might be overturned...very scary.
