Quiet campground despite the hwy being close by. Sites are level concrete pads and there is no natural shade. No water at individual sites but it can be had at the bath houses. Speaking of bath houses, they are clean and well taken care of. There is lots to do in the area making this a good place to post up for a while or use as a stop over. We will be back to explore this area of Colorado.

This campground had a lot to offer! While the reservoir is low you can explore the rocks and we were able to see many fish up close. The water is cold, but we all enjoyed swimming! The hosts were great as well.

Stayed for only one night in loop D (electrical only) but the facilities that we used were all excellent. The campsite was a combination of asphalt (driveway) and cement (camping pad) and were perfectly level. Reliable 30 & 50 amp service. The facility was kept very clean. I really liked the fact that recycling bins are provided for metal cans, glass, plastics. The dump station could be approached from both sides, was clean, level, with both potable water and water for flushing tanks. Camp hosts were pleasant and unobtrusive. Did not check out the showers but from what I understand the building/facility is new this year. So overall a well kept/maintained campground.

Nice campground, not much to do. With water levels so low, this area isn’t thriving. The campground is well kept and spaced out nicely.
