Perfect spot. Easy to register, easy to find, conveniently located and pristine bathrooms. Really enjoyed the ranger talk (Bats!). 10/10 would stay again

Gorgeous campsite overlooking the reservoir. The night sky was magnificent, thick with stars and the Milky Way. Highly recommended.

We stayed in the electric loop which was pretty quiet. Liked the layout at site #2.
The hosts did a great job cleaning up the sites -- even raking the gravel; and were very friendly.
We had a very nice vacation and REALLY enjoyed the Ranger programs we attended.
In loop D at the lower bathroom, the outside entry doors on both men & women slammed very loudly, so was quite annoying.
Also much to our disappointment, the shower house was closed -- apparently the concessionaire decided not to open it this season. I don't remember reading this information in our confirmation emails. Would have been good to know in advance.

Site A29 was a great choice for tent camping. Relatively close to the reservoir but not a long walk from the parking area. Campground was rather empty the night I stayed, which made for a quiet evening under the stars. Site was also next door to the amphitheater. Range program on endangered species was very good.

We stayed in Loop D in our travel trailer in early August. Campground was well maintained and quiet. Concrete pads and electrical hook ups at each site in that loop. Set back far enough from US 50 so as to reduce road noise. Lake level was pretty low during our stay and it was a rock scramble to get to the water from the C.G. Took our mountain bikes to nearby Hartman Rocks and had some great rides; I recommend checking that area out.

Clean campground, friendly hosts. Enjoyed Ranger talk on Believe the Beavers. Disappointed that showers in the marina were closed.

Nice campground, well kept. Road through D loop could use some sealer. Bathroom lights need to turn off sooner for dark sky star gazing. Good neighbors and good fishing.

Campsites very clean but not much shade. Lake down due to drought but plenty of room due to size of lake.
