Very nice campground with beautiful views of mountains. Lots of shade and bathrooms were cleaned twice a day! Nice hiking and tried some fly fishing, not much luck. A few noisy dirt bikes road through the campground. Maybe a reminder from camp hosts to quiet them down would help. We would camp here again if in the area.

Camp hosts at both Union and Baldy were above and beyond excellent very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms and sites were in top shape. Best experience I’ve ever had.

Stayed in Baldy loop.
Very clean restrooms. Sites raked and clean.
Host very nice and helpful.
Only issue is maintenance needs to change out bathroom lights.
Hard to see at night and might be a safety issue.
We will be back.

From Gunnison, Colo., travel north on Highway 135 for 10 miles to Almont. At intersection of State Rt. 135 and County Rt. 742, take Rt. 742 for 16.7 miles to campground sign. Turn right into campground.
