Aspen campground is praised for its beautiful, well-maintained sites, cleanliness, and proximity to the Colorado Trail and Jefferson Lake, making it ideal for outdoor activities. Campers appreciate the spaciousness and privacy of the sites, as well as the friendly hosts. Very nice and quiet campground. Toilets are very clean. The host Billy did great job to maintain the campground. We need more hosts like Billy!

Campground was beautiful and very well maintained. Each site had plenty of space, and reasonable privacy. Only complaint is the lack of bear boxes; there was 1 for every 2-3 sites.

The biggest problem was the restrooms were really bad. Pretty sure they had not been cleaned in over a week.

Was very disappointed in this spot. Had a camper and we couldn’t even keep windows open for fresh air or eat outside as the smell of the camp bathrooms was just awful . Were there for 4 days. The fire pit area was too far to carry things back & forth for senior people. Parking for trailer should be further in so as not to be right next to bathrooms we feel.

This is a very nice campground close to the Colorado trail and several beaver ponds.

It was a beautiful campground, with large sites. Being so close to the lake and the Colorado Trail were added bonuses! No toilet paper in the outhouses though... they ran out and were not re-stocked. Very odd.
