This was our second year in a row camping at Round Mountain. It's a great campground! It's small (few sites), each site is quite expansive, there is plenty of natural shade, the bathrooms are clean, and there is trash and a water pump. It is adjacent popular dirt biking trails so during the day can be a little noisy, but it really isn't an issue and we spent much of the daytime at the South Platte about 15 min away.

The campsite was very clean and our camp host (I believe his name is Ken) was awesome. He came by everyday cleaned the bathrooms at least twice a day and brought dog biscuits to our 4-legged companions. He was very knowledgeable of the area. It is a smaller camp and all the sites are very spacious. The water in the pump was a little discolored at times but seemed fine with no odor. We have already recommended this campsite to our friends.

Clean bathrooms, lots of space at our site as well as a good distance between sites. Even though the campground was full, it was very quiet and peaceful!

We stayed in spot 10, most likely the largest spot within the campground.
Campground was very quite, well taken care of. We had almost the entire campground to our selves (not normal).
Website says pack in pack out but there is garbage dumpster by the main bathroom.

Great area. Very well maintained and clean. The camp host is wonderful. The ATV’s on the road can be loud so it’s not a very quiet campground, but we had a great time and saw some beautiful nature.

Site 5 was great. Very level, parking area was very long, probably 50+ft. Not a lot of shade, but this wasn't a problem for us. Sites are spaced pretty far apart as well.
