Many visitors appreciate the beautiful, tree-surrounded location and the privacy of the campsites, with easy access to nearby trails and lakes. Great location that gave us easy access to trails, National Monument and Cripple Creek! Bathrooms are composting bathrooms and there is well supplied water pump at the entrance to the campground. Full cell service on T-mobile and Mint Mobile.

The campground is well maintained by a host that stays on the site. Bathrooms are clean and water tastes good. The campground is on level ground, and while RV camping is allowed at all campsites, some sites are not good for larger RV trailers or motorhomes (ex: #9).

Great spot, lucky to find a weekend reservation just a few weeks in advance! I was initially 'disappointed' to find this site was one next to the toilet, but it was very clean and didn't smell. This site ended up being great! Spacious and open with plenty of shade and with a nice view of Pike's Peak. The friendly host came by each morning to check the condition and clean. Will definitely look to come back!
