What Guests Are Saying
Baby Doe Campground features stunning views, well-maintained sites, and exceptional hosts, Darrell and Dana, who are praised for their friendliness and helpfulness. Visitors appreciate the clean facilities, close proximity to Turquoise Lake, and ample hiking opportunities. However, some campers found certain sites too small, lacking privacy, or poorly suited for larger vehicles, which impacted their overall experience.

Campsites are spread out in a treed environment, with easy access to Turquoise Lake. Our 5yo grandson’s favorite place!

This location was one of the best I have visited. The sites are large and perfect spacing. The bathrooms were clean and the camp hosts Tom and Madeline were awesome! They greeted us as we drove in and ensured we knew exactly where we need to go and provided a helpful information packet for the area. They were always available and I watched them provide assistance to the campers that required it. There were some new campers, which never created a campfire and Tom took the time to show them how to create a fire and provided much need safety knowledge to the children, two of the campers had electrical issues and Tom provided assistance by troubleshooting the wiring and providing a battery charger. I hope the next time I visit Baby Doe they are the hosts. We even provided some much need to green chili to Tom for being so kind and helpful. They are model camp hosts and should get recognized for their efforts.

Great place and nice wooded trees for privacy. This spot is very good for a camper like we had for space. You are up on the hill overlooking down to the lake. The lake trail is easy walk down. There did seem to be a lot of loud dogs this time so the echo of barking was annoying. Very nice camping here

It is a beautiful place. However, it was a noisy night. Loud music past quiet hours, racing motorcycle through the park at 4am. It’s very clean and well kept.
