Nice, clean campground with basic amenities. Our specific campsite was quite slopped and we slid several feet down our tent overnight 😂. It’s a bit of a walk, partly on a paved road to the day use area to play at the lake. I would camp there again.

Clean campsite. Tent pad was at a very slight angle, not completely level, but workable. Site is a short walk from the value toilets. Host was nice.

Very nice spot. The camp area is about a 5 minute walk down to the lake. You get a pass to use the day/picnic area with your reservation which was great for being able to get our canoe in and out on the lake. Toilets were very clean and the camp host was very helpful and friendly.

This is a nice campground, plenty of shade and trees all around. Bathrooms very clean. The lake isn’t right there, about a 10 minute walk.

One of best campgrounds we have camped in. Well designed, maintained and managed. Close to the lake and Leadville where we took in the Mineral Belt trail and the train.

This is a beautiful campground with lots of tall trees, large sites and plenty of shade. The host was friendly and does an amazing job maintaining the campground and keeping it clean and tidy. It’s a great location to enjoy hiking, biking snd fishing. However, there was no water available in the campground and no RV dump station. The nearest place to get water and dump sewage is at the Leadville Sanitation District Station located next to the Mineral Loop trailhead about 6 mi away.

Very poorly managed. The right hand did not know what the left hand was doing. Website and ranger station gave me different information. I missed my campout time because of this,

We had a beautiful campsite. The campground was clean and clearly well maintained. It was quiet and other campers were friendly and respectful. Marsha, the host, was so helpful and friendly. A very good camping experience!
