Beautiful place and lake. The only downfall is that the ground is very dusty and dirty so I was on benedryl all week, but it was worth it! I wish they had running water to but overall I loved it :)

We absolutely loved Baby Doe and the camp hosts were extremely helpful. Turquoise Lake was exquisite with lots of hiking around it. Kayaking and fishing are top activities and access to the city of Leadville was great! Some of the sites are a bit tricky to back into, so be prepared to bring lots of patience with you. The bathrooms are clean and centrally located. You would have had 5 stars, but the campground had no water or sewer dump available while we were there.
We will most definitely be back! Thanks.

Great for kids. Nice beach, beautiful scenery & lots of paths to explore. Rains alot every year! The camp host was great. I hope the same host comes back next year! The one disappointing thing was that the dump station was closed. Bringing your own water is one thing but not being able to dump is extremely inconvenient. The Verizon cell service was fair to poor. The AT&T was better. The bathrooms were very clean. Definitely a good family place.
