I was very disappointed in my trip to Baby Doe campground this year. There was a youth group that booked multiple sites at the campground. They gathered in one very large group at the site across from ours. The noise was out of control with teens yelling at each other. The group violated campground restrictions as well as Covid restrictions. Iβm not sure why this was allowed. My understanding is that each site is meant to accommodate up to 8 people. This group had probably twice that at several points throughout the day. So disappointed! I love this campground but itβs sad to see groups bend the rules to selfishly accommodate their own needs.

Campsites were spaced out well enough. No Lighting in the bathrooms at night was a little disappointing. They had firewood on site and the site manager was readily available. Excellent proximity to the water!

Fantastic campground! We loved the easy proximity to the lake and as ALL the other reviews have said, the restrooms were immaculate for a campground! Camp hosts had firewood available. It was a busy July weekend, but still felt quiet. I'd say it was 50/50 tents to RVs, and only a small handful of generators!
Close drive to town for a little ice cream or coffee!

Attentive, friendly and helpful camp hosts, extremely clean (sanitized 3 times per day) bathrooms along with a beautiful location and clean campsite make for a fun and enjoyable weekend of camping. Be prepared for cold overnight temperatures (as you are at 10,500 feet) as well of the sound of excited children as families of all ages enjoy beautiful Turquoise Lake.
