Very well maintained. Quiet in the area of site 12, where we stayed.

We always enjoy our trips to Turquoise Lake. We have camped at four of the campgrounds and the sites are well kept, bathrooms always clean and camp host friendly and helpful.

We always try to camp to Father Dyer CG at the Turquoise Lake Recreation Area for several reasons. The campsites and restrooms are always very clean and nice per effort of long time campground host Marsha. She enforces the rules in a calm but effective manner and checks whether folks really do qualify for a "senior" discount. She is informative and friendly. We have camped at Baby Doe and others but tend to find camping away from the lake (a short walk away) tends to attract less noisy campers which is preferred by us.

We always enjoy this campground. The host, Marsha, is great. Hike the nearby Colorado Trail and the Continental Divide Trail.
