Clean campsites, OK restrooms, and nice views of the lake from many sites. No water in recent years, so remember to bring your own.

Well-spaced campsites, most level. Very clean restrooms. Super-quiet at night. Beautiful breezes. We were very pleased with site E10.

The campground needs to do something about ALL of the campers on top of the Mt Elbert trailhead using Lakeview Campground bathrooms. If I'm paying $70/weekend and I'm sharing a bathroom with someone who didn't pay then I have a problem. Put locks or QR codes on the restroom and trash cans

This was my second stay at that campground. This time we where not given a pass to the lake, a hiking guide to the trails, nor were the toilets pumped out.

5/5 Stars – Absolutely beautiful, we will be back!
We had a wonderful time at Lakeview Campground! The campground itself is absolutely beautiful, with incredible views and a peaceful atmosphere.
The camp host was fantastic—very welcoming, helpful, and clearly takes great care of the facility. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are already looking forward to booking our next trip here. Highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Twin Lakes!

Beautiful location. Our site (E6) was good for our 26' motorhome. Not all sites here are as level or large enough. With the number of federal campgrounds in this area, I don't understand why there isn't water available. Just one water spigot at each campground would be nice. Not where you would fill an RV water tank - just for filling water jugs to use while camping. Lakeview is a pretty dusty campground but we have stayed here multiple times because the views are incredible.

This was our first time staying at Lakeview. Camp host Roose was extremely nice and helpful! The privi was clean. It was a beautiful campground up in the pines and aspens. Our site had great views of twin lakes and Mt. Elbert. We hiked some on the Colorado Trail. We enjoy going to Twin Lakes! If you'd like a day trip, head up to the fun town of Leadville.
