White Star and Twin Lakes never disappoints! I must say, this year the vault toilets were probably the cleanest toilets I have ever seen in any campground. I was amazed! We stayed in site 66 and were so please at the amount of space we had. No one was close and the kids got to run all over without intruding on other people's sites. We were visited by hummingbirds, chipmunks, and cute little birds. We rented paddle boards from Twin Lakes SUP & Cycle and spent our days paddling and fishing until the weather rolled in after noon. Cannot wait to return next year!

White Star is a great campground. Some sites have shade/sun; others have only sun. The restrooms are kept clean. Camp hosts are very friendly. However, there is no water (and hasn't been for at least the last two years). This is not good when campfires are allowed. And with no water the dump station is closed.

We needed someplace to crash for a night before heading into the Collegiates for several days of backpacking. White Star fit the bill: clean bathrooms and a flat spot for a tent. Unfortunately, as of 6/18/2022, the water spigots were turned off due to some type of contamination. But, the campground was quiet, the views were lovely, and we had a good night's sleep.

How come for third year no water? Itβs hard to drive that far and then have to leave to find water. Host is wonderful but must be frustrating for him as well. Many campers left early as they ran out of water. Please fix!!!

Outstanding campground, great location and views. Bob, the host, does an excellent job of keeping restrooms clean and the facilities in order.
