Policies & Rules

General

  • The road to the Community House is narrow and rocky, but passable for most passenger cars
  • Fees for facility are as follows: 1-50 people = $85.00 51-100 people = $110.00 101-150 people = $160.00 151-200 people = $210.00
  • This is a day-use area only; overnight camping prohibited
  • There is no drinking water or electricity hook-ups at this site. Use of generators is prohibited.
  • The road is closed in winter and spring (November 23 to June 20) to motor vehicles except snowmobiles
  • Summer day use is from until.
  • The facility is locked with a combination lock
  • Don't Move Firewood: Prevent the spread of tree-killing organisms by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on-site. For more information visit dontmovefirewood.org.
  • Amplified music is permitted between . Music shall be 80 decibels or less as to not disturb other forest users.
  • Pre-paid food and drink vendors and an event officiant are permissible so long as the vendor and/or officiant only provide services to the guests of the event. No other service shall be offered to other recreation visitors.
  • Flowers and other decorations are allowed so long as all items are removed immediately post event and not be allowed to blow away or be strewn about the site. Decoration shall not be affixed to natural features such as trees, rocks, or other vegetation.
  • Commercial filming and still photography are permissible so long as the products are only available to the client who booked the venue. No other re-sale is allowable.
  • Additional pre-paid seating and appropriately sized tents are permissible at this venue. All tents and seating shall be placed on hardened surfaces. 
  • Release or throwing of animals, vegetation, or any other materials is prohibited. This is a natural forest environment, and all celebratory items shall reflect the setting.
  • All vendor-provided equipment shall be removed by site check out time as described on Recreation.gov. The reservation holder is responsible for removal of all equipment and conduct of their vendor.
