Beautiful campground, nice sites and location. Some minor road noise from I-70, but not bad. Camp host was very friendly and available. The bathrooms were some of the cleanest I've ever seen. Really clean and pleasant!

We had a great one-night stay at Gore Creek. Our campsite was near the entrance and close enough that you could hear the highway. The host was great. The cleanest pit toilets I have ever seen. We tried to find the trail to the creek but for us it was a bit steep and not very well marked.

Getting There
Travel east on I-70 to Exit 180 for East Vail. Turn right and follow the south frontage road (Bighorn Road) east to the road closure gate at about 2 mi. The campground is on the left just before the gate.
