It was a great experience to be able to stay in the park! Being able to wake up early to go hiking and staying late in the evening to watch the sunset from Sunset View Point and see the animals come out as it cooled down was wonderful.

This was one of our favorite campgrounds. It was very clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed the ranger led dark sky presentation. Gina was funny and engaging and provided a wealth of knowledge that kept us and our kid interested. Thank you!

We had site B24 and B26 on the South Rim. Site B24 was very awkward, there were rocks in the middle of the site and the parking location wasn't really clear. Also, the latrine was next to our site so people were constantly cutting across our campsite to reach the bathroom. Site B26 was great - a personal parking area, good flat area for the tent, and much more privacy. Overall the campground was nice. Water was available, no flush toilets or showers, but the latrines were clean.

Wonderful! Must see the painted wall. I wish all the walk outs were marked with distance some are clearly marked others are not. Loved hiking at Warner’s point. Highway 50 construction requires special planning.

We enjoyed our trip to Black Canyon - beautiful location. The campsites have enough space between them to give some privacy, and most of them have some shade for at least part of the day. If you are bringing an RV, fill up your water tank before arriving - there is nowhere to fill your tank at the campsite. There is some drinking water available, but it is not allowed to be used for toilets/dishes/showers/etc.
