The campground layout was kind of odd, everything was a bit too far apart. The campgrounds also have a pretty big wasp problem

The South Rim campsite was clean, well maintained, quiet and surrounded with plenty of high bushes for privacy. The overlooks along the South Rim drive were breathtaking and varied. I recommend stopping for as many of those as possible. Oak Flat Loop was a great trail for views from a bit below the canyon rim and a short but significant workout due to it's changes in height; a walking pole or stick may be helpful in one or two areas of this trail. Binoculars may be helpful as well for viewing birds flying above the canyon.

Decent site, the toilets were a little smelly but not terrible for a vault

We really loved this campsite. It was a surprise getting there and learning that we did have an electrical hook up! The area is amazing. The only drawback was that we had to fill our RV with water in town before entering the park.
