Don't stay on the south side of the A loop in the campground. You will hear the folks at the ranger employee housing quarters going on till 2-4 am.

The views are fantastic, the campground well kept. The presentation at the amphitheater was well worth it. I do wish there was some phone reception. Without a sat phone there is no way to be contacted in case of an emergency at home.

We loved the natural beauty of the canyon, and also participated in two ranger-led activities, which we very much enjoyed. The campground was spotless and sites well situated - though close together in proximity, the placement and foliage still allowed for a sense of privacy.

Definitely worth the trip, the canyon is WOW. Campground was a good overnight, just not much scenery there.
Do try the star party, really great look at galaxies, nebula and planets. All in all a great stay.
