Nice quiet campground, great biking on the roads. Bring water as the water service there is more suited for filling water bottles for drinking only, not trailer water tanks. Our first two days was during a drought and deer and yellow jackets were hanging around the water stations in the campground and water faucets. Then it rained overnight and they left.

Torrential rain flooded the campground and our site (A-30) was a muddy mess, with no place to put a tent that wasn't in mud. This loop also has only one pit toilet (men/women) for entire loop. Not good for tent campers. Even without rain, this would not have been a good tent site - no grass and not a level spot. The Canyon was worth visiting, but wish we'd stayed elsewhere.

Convenient location to see the park esp if you want to do the scenic drive early morning. It's nice that some room between sites and bathrooms were clean. Nice stay overall..

Absolutely stunning night sky views. The view of the Milky Way was something I can't recall ever seeing before. No issues with other campers or facilities. I would stay here again and would recommend.
