I stayed at site A014. It's a very basic site with a fire ring and table. If you want shade, you need to bring a shelter or put a chair in the bushes with the bees. There are lots of bees here. The vault toilet is a short walk, and is generally clean as far as they go. The park itself was great; there are lots of beautiful hikes. Be sure to get one of the wilderness permits and hike down to the river!

The camp hosts were wonderful. We enjoyed the ranger talks and the walk from the campground to the visitor center. We also hiked to the bottom of the canyon, which was great, but I would only recommend this to experienced hikers as the hike was very strenuous and difficult. Overall a beautiful place to visit!!

We stayed in a medium-sized RV. There were a couple of sites that would accommodate large RVs. The scrub oak did not offer any shade, but we were in a site with electricity so we could run our AC and fans. The camp host and hostess were very friendly and informative. We enjoyed the talk that that park ranger gave at the amphitheater. The campground had nice picnic tables and fire pits with attached grills for cooking. The bathrooms were very clean. There was no cell service at the campground. There were mule deer that visited our site on a few occasions.

Very nice facilities and campground. Limited in amenities, but is not necessary for most camping experiences.

The evening ranger program was excellent! A campsite became available, so we grabbed it. But it was quite overgrown and there was no obvious pad area for our tent, so we put it in the parking space. Decent and clean vault facilities, though water is limited.

For being a national park and having an entrance fee on top of the camp fee, there is not a lot to do. The non-permit required hikes can quickly be done in a day or less. As far as campsites go, they are tiny, and most offer no shade. All day, you bake in the sun. However, most go here for the views at night, and sadly it was cloudy during my stay. Don't stay for more than a night unless you want to stargaze.

We stayed in site A24 and really enjoyed it. The site had everything we needed and was close enough to the bathroom without being on top of it. We saw several deer, chipmunks, and a rabbit during our two night stay. We definitely recommend this campground.

Nice campground. Sites are on the smaller side of but still big enough for a family. Excellent Ranger Program.

Barely had enough room to be off the road. Bushes that scratched me and my car prevented me from access to that side of my camper and car.
