Love Camp Dick
I really enjoy the campsites near the creek / river (St Vrain) and the campsites were very shady Beautiful campsite (#12)
Camp hosts just awesome!
Great place to just kick back and do a little hiking / daudling with the dog.

I took my four year old granddaughter camping for the first time at Camp Dick. It is a good location for a short overnighter from the front range of Colorado. She got to hike, ride her bike, have a campfire, sleep in a tent and just experience the beauty of being out. All in less than 24 hours!

The area is beautiful, our site was spacious and private, the restrooms were very clean, our neighbors were friendly. We were graced by 2 mooses early in the morning, both children and adults were thrilled as they sauntered by. Great experience, we will be back.
