Fairly quiet campground. Occasionally gets 1 bar Verizon signal. Site 7 not good - no shade or wind protection whatsoever.

Great primitive spaces and very quiet. Great access to hiking right from the campsites, no need to drive to a trailhead! Unfortunately only 1 potable water location was working when we were there, but we made do without too much hassle.

Pleasant campground, nice hosts. If you come on a weekend, plan to bring some extra TP. The trailhead users do a lot of wiping, but the pit toilets were among the cleanest I've seen.

Site 29 has good privacy, is fairly level but is in partial sun for those of you seeking to charge your solar panels, bring portable ones! On a hot day, it's a fantastic site with great afternoon shade. We had the amazing surprise of being woken up by two moose walking out of the trail next to us and through our campsite. Incredible experience.

When I first got there someone was in my spot. They finally left but this was inconvenient at the time. It started to rain ☔️ once I had my tent up but sat in the tent with the flap open and enjoyed the peace of the forest. The sky eventually cleared and the stars were plentiful. I saw the moose mascot on the way out. Love seeing him

Nice campsite. Smaller than we were anticipating. I think it would be difficult to fit the number of people it said this site would hold. Almost no shade. Great access to the water.

Beautiful location, peaceful campsite with plenty of shade, kind hosts, and some of the cleanest vault toilets I’ve ever used. My toddler loved wading and throwing rocks in the river, and there are plenty of trails right out of camp. We will be back!
