It’s a very nice campground!

Host was friendly , polite and ready to help. The problem was a black bear visiting our tent site often. Incredibly, the forest rangers we call, found the solution proposing to relocate us if we don't like, but not relocating the bear!!! The same bear was present on campground "inspecting" each site . Weird way to protect guests on a paid campground site. A bruin shouldn't be accepted to menace a campground populated with people, most being children.

Saw Bull Moose , cow and calf moose and bear encounter. Lots of chipmunks, squirrels, birds.
So peaceful to sit and read book by the stream.
Sad not to have wood fire so had to rely on propane for cooking... Propane fire pit was nice ... Enjoyed our time . But a little irritated the reservation site not clear enough on having extra vehicle and having to pay extra for them how do you expect to get 8 people up to campground in 1 car with gear???? And it says your allowed 2 cars but hidden away says you have to pay for the extra even if it doesn't take up any more space than your space!!!!
Beautiful area and hiking was great and 4x4 trails were great. Animals were fantastic.

Views were great. Night sky and stars awesome. The moose and bear encounters memorable and exciting to see. The peacefulness of the water running over rocks in stream relaxing. Hiking great. 4x4 trails fun .glad we brought propane to cook on and having propane fire pit was not a bad substitute for fire at night... Irritated at expense of extra vehicle. .. hidden in reservation page but not clear when doing reservation..

Fairly quiet campground. Occasionally gets 1 bar Verizon signal. Site 7 not good - no shade or wind protection whatsoever.

Great primitive spaces and very quiet. Great access to hiking right from the campsites, no need to drive to a trailhead! Unfortunately only 1 potable water location was working when we were there, but we made do without too much hassle.

Very nice campground with some sites better than others. Creek and trails nearby.

Camp sites are nice

Pleasant campground, nice hosts. If you come on a weekend, plan to bring some extra TP. The trailhead users do a lot of wiping, but the pit toilets were among the cleanest I've seen.

When I first got there someone was in my spot. They finally left but this was inconvenient at the time. It started to rain ☔️ once I had my tent up but sat in the tent with the flap open and enjoyed the peace of the forest. The sky eventually cleared and the stars were plentiful. I saw the moose mascot on the way out. Love seeing him
