What Guests Are Saying

Camp Dick is praised for its cleanliness, friendly hosts, and beautiful, well-spaced campsites. Visitors enjoyed the excellent hiking and fishing opportunities, with sightings of wildlife like moose enhancing the experience. However, some noted issues with rough access roads, noise from ATVs, and inconsistent water availability, which could detract from the overall enjoyment.

The campsite was cleaned and raked. The restrooms were clean and well stocked. We had a great stay as usual! :-)

There was no water available due to a break in the water line the previous week. There is no close water supply. There should have been a note on the website.
Vault toilets only.

Kids on ATV’s and big electric bikes continually circling the campground.
Sounded like a racetrack.
Camp host said it’s like this all the time here.
We left and will not return.

Also - noticed a number of sites there and at Peaceful Valley were booked for multiple days and people no showed. Tis a shame.

And while we’re at it - many many double sites left open (mid week), but double the cost and unable to use senior discount. What a waste. We would have gladly pay 1/2 of full $58 rate for FF at a double if that was all that was available. Not $58.

#33 was as expected. Nothing amazing, nothing terrible. Plenty of shade and close to the restrooms. Neighbors are near to your left and right which can be entertaining to listen to a couple lovingly direct each other on backing in a trailer. Hiking options are pretty limited with Middle Saint Vrain being the main attraction.
