We were tent camping and it was nice they had a tent-only area up on a hill above the general campground noise. Very beautiful area, although trees on the horizon were charred by fire.

I tried to cancel my reservation several times as I got COVID and the site wouldn't process my request. I am not able to get a refund or anything now and I didnt even get to use the site. So frustrating.

Beautiful campground surround by lakes and forest. But the site is in very remote area no cell coverage at all. If you want to make a phone call you need to drive at least 25 mi away to find cell signal. Also there is no dump station so you have to dump your holding tank outside of the site at least 20-30 mi away.

Be sure to get on the lake! We didn’t and wished we have a kayak or canoe. We liked the RV trailer sites away from the lake for more privacy. Chambers Lake offers the outdoors experience we really like, being totally off grid!
