The location is beautiful, the campsites are well maintained. The reason this trip was "fair" is because of the weather and the Camp Host, Donna. As an FYI a lot of the campsites that are tent sites, you can't park at, you park in a space close to the road and walk down (this was not clear in the website).

it is getting really expensive to camp now $8.00 a day for electricity my house doesn't Youse that much and most things in my trailer are low voltage. $8.00 for extra car to park .No water in the campground and nobody was even trying to fix it for the whole week we were their the host never cam around once to explain the problem to us and tell us when it would be fixed.

From Fort Collins, take Highway 287 north for approximately 24 miles to Livermore. Turn west on County Road 74 and continue about 23 miles to Dowdy Lake Road. Turn right, then another right onto Dowdy Drive and continue to the campground.
