The only thing was that the restrooms didn't have the usual hand sanitizer. We don't use the water so lack of water wasn't a big deal. Sites were clean and fellow campers were great.

I absolutely love Dowdy Lake campgrounds. Every single year the sites are well groomed, bathrooms are spotless clean, and the staff are so kind and amazing!!!

Site 26 does NOT have shade, as the description states. Don't bring a hammack, no trees for you. BRING a shade canopy!

An excellent visit to our favorite lake, conveniently close to our Ft. Collins. I had to pick two non-adjacent sites for our 2-night stay, but as there was plenty of space so we were able to choose the most desirable site. We always enjoy coming to Dowdy because (compared to Rocky) it's wonderfully quiet and peaceful.

Beautiful lake and campground, awesome fishing! Unfortunetly you get the typical campers that have no regard for anyone else around them. "It's all about them" and they could care less if they are disturbing anyone.
