Camp host was great.
Reservation system changed between when we made the reservation and showed up. This forces us to go from a reserved spot to frits come first server. Finding a first come first service spot was vary trying.
Suggest sending an email out to people with reserved spots when you change the reservation policy at the cap ground they are in.

Great campsite close to silver dollar lake trail and Mt. Bierstadt trail. Creek runs through the grounds and it’s so nice to fall asleep to. Bathrooms are the cleanest vault toilets I have ever seen or smelled. Nice camp host too! Will definitely be back to this campground!

We stayed 6/7/21, site 008. There was a 6x10 patch of snow a foot or so from our fire ring. Still cool and definitely needed extra blankets in our tent. The campground is on split between both sides of the road, site 008 is creek side, plenty of trees to put our hammock. The camp host, David, came over to introduce himself. We were not expecting it given the chill but there were a lot of gigantic horseflies that flocked to our tent, we sprayed the tent with repellent. Very clean restrooms although we use luggable loo overnight. We plan to return but will plan for later June/July due to overnight temps. We reserved the spot in late January 2021, by then the spots were already taken, so you have to plan early.
