Guanella Pass campground is highly praised for its cleanliness, serene atmosphere, and beautiful natural surroundings, including a nearby stream that provides a relaxing ambiance. Campers appreciate the well-maintained facilities and the helpful camp host. While some noted minor issues like bugs and a lack of drinking water, the overall experience is positive, making it a recommended destination for camping enthusiasts.

Sites and restrooms clean and well kept. Stayed additional days in the self serve, first come first served, portion of the campground. Nice hiking trails in the vicinity.

Camp host was great.
Reservation system changed between when we made the reservation and showed up. This forces us to go from a reserved spot to frits come first server. Finding a first come first service spot was vary trying.
Suggest sending an email out to people with reserved spots when you change the reservation policy at the cap ground they are in.

Great campsite close to silver dollar lake trail and Mt. Bierstadt trail. Creek runs through the grounds and it’s so nice to fall asleep to. Bathrooms are the cleanest vault toilets I have ever seen or smelled. Nice camp host too! Will definitely be back to this campground!
