Very spacious campgrounds. Each site has several tent pads and lots of shade.

Great group site! Our sites each had 8-9 tent pads and a lovely central cooking and hangout area with two large picnic tables and oversized bear boxes for our gear. Well wooded and shaded. Sites 1-3 are all visible from each other. Then 4-5 (and maybe 6? Not sure) are visible from each other a bit further in.

Great campground for our group of 20. Large tent pads, bear boxes, picnic tables, and cleanest vault toilets I've ever seen. Expect a walk from parking lot to campsite, but we had lots of hands to help. Bring wagons if you have a lot of stuff. Stayed in Group Site 1. Great experience overall.

This location was perfect for our group! It really felt private and removed from the other campgrounds. We will definitely be coming back here.

Absolutely love this location! I got married to the love of my life at this campsite with some of the most breathtaking views. It was absolutely perfect for a lowkey wedding. The playground and open area was a huge hit with the kids. Plus the separate space away from the group campsites made it a truly private and intimate experience. Our guests enjoyed the views and roaming around and just overall was incredible. Definitely planning on doing another group event here in the future!

We love coming here each year. Plenty of room to invite friends and family, lots of tree cover, space to hike and explore, and each site has a vault toilet and water spigot. Wildlife in the area, but there are two big bear boxes at each site. Two picnic tables and a bench around a fire pit. It isn't a terribly long walk from the parking to the sites, but if you've got heavy stuff or mobility issues, be sure to bring a wagon or wheelbarrow (or an extra set of strong arms). We've really only come towards the end of the season, but it hasn't been overly loud with the nearby campers. There might be a gun range nearby, too, as we've heard discharge during a few of our visits.

This was the second year our groups has booked a weekend at the campground. Despite a very rainy week leading up to our reservation, the ground was not at all sodden, and the roads were in very good shape. Though the potable water pumps went down a week before our trip, ExplorUS notified me promptly about the issue and reimbursed part of the fees to make up for it. The camp manager, Chris and his camp hosts were friendly, responsive, quick to solve problems, and great to work with. We were able to easily get enough water up to the site for our group, and everyone enjoyed another relaxing weekend at a gorgeous site. This remains a beautiful spot to camp, and I would highly recommend it.
